Countess of Wessex visits Westminster Bridge Road
Thursday 7 December 2006 - London SE1 website team
Last week Sophie, Countess of Wessex, visited Westminster Bridge Road to rename the offices of the Greater London Fund for the Blind, Sir John Mills House.

Can storied urn, or animated bust,
Back to its mansion call the fleeting breath?
Can honour's voice provoke the silent dust,
Or flattery soothe the dull cold ear of death?

What was the house called before being renamed?
