I am thinking of moving to this area and have found this forum and read a lot of the threads.

Can anyone tell me are there still noisy young people playing in the evening in nelson square gardens, or has this problem been sorted?

Has the developement on the Orbit site been halted as it was mentioned it would be started in 2002 and its still a flat site?

Rang Southwark Council, and was passed from pillar to post, not nearly as efficient as Tower Hamlets where I have lived in the past. Any comments?

Any further news of double glazing in Rowland Hill House?

On Balance is it a good area to live in or not? looks like its being changed dramatically, I wonder if the blocks like in nelson square are going to become ghettos in an area of shiny offices.

I've no idea, but last year there were 3 big undeveloped Georgian houses sold in the square for about 1.6m. They were sold with planning permission for conversion to 9 flats (shame on the council's planning department). Does anybody know whether this has happened?
