Local male burlesque class!

I just received this message c/o my MySpace page:

Miss Venuss Envy is running a free taster class for all boys, men and males interested in Burlesque performance. The class will be dance and performance based.

It promises to be full of fabulous, frivalous fun in one jam packed hour of boy burly banter.

So if you or someone you know is interested in or has a secret desire to shake his tail feather, wiggle his hips or strut round like the wonderful peacock that he is then come to this free taster class.

I was reading about male Burlesque in one of the free papers last week (don't remember which one).

I would LOVE to watch male Burlesque. All those lean torsos . . .

No! That's exactly what burlesque is not about, whether male or female. You are thinking of the Chippendales or something.

In fact one of the best male burlesque troupes is Bearlesque, five big hairy guys who perform weekly at the Vauxhall Tavern.
