Reasonably new to SE1 and got some friends coming down tommorow (Friday) night to stay.

Whats a good place for late night drinking and/or decent club.

Want to stay South of the River within walking distance of London Bridge.

I have never been, but this is the main club in SE1 I am aware of:

There is also a place under the railway arches, but I forget the name (somebody else on here will know).

Village East on B St. good for a cocktail; Hartley good for a pint and sometimes has live music.

SEone looked a bit too D n B for my liking tommorow. By choice prefer Hard House/Trance Ibiza style to that.
Have heard of a place under the arches but not sure what it's called.

Hartley is my local when I ever get time to grab a pint.

Try The Rose on Snowsfields. Always good for a late night pint.

Would it be fatuous to mention Ministry of Sound on Gaunt Street, near the Elephant? For a rather edgier and less commerical vibe, I can recommend The Shunt in London Bridge station, but you will most likely need to be a member to gain admission.

There's Jacks, on Crucifix Lane (kind of opposite the Suchard Thai place I think). I have no idea what kind of night tonight is.

Jan, Hard House and Trance are very old styles of dance music.
