Lear at the Globe - needs a razor before worth going

Went to see King Lear at the Globe yesterday evening. Probably quite a good performance other than only about 1 word in 50 of Lear's was audible from the Gentleman's box. It was very notable that the only people laughing at his jokes were directly in front of him.

Don't bother going until his beard stops eating his words.

Oh yes, and during the storm, the noise of the storm was so great that for nearly ten minutes not a single word of any actor was audible.
