I'm a 1st time Mum to be, and would love to get to know others in the area due a similar time to me. I'm actually due in December. How many weeks are you now ? Please feel free to PM me if you fancy a chat.
PS - LongLaner, thanks for the list. My classes were due to be at the Aylesbury but now it's closed I'm at a lost on what to do. I'll start calling round now.
I was in the class of 2007 and have a beautiful baby boy to show for it! I had a lovely time meeting up with the then pregnant ladies of SE1 who I found through the forum.
Caroline Flint is a legend in Midwifery circles and runs classes from her home by Vauxhall Bridge ~ cannot recommend her highly enough. You can book her classes through Alison Johnson 020 8671 5763 ~ be quick (I mean VERY quick)as the places get snapped up post coitally!
Hi Gilliana and other expectant mums - don't know where you're from in teh area but if you're based anywhere around tower bridge then drop us a line at riverside parents (www.riversideparents.co.uk) - we're a group of local parents, trying to make some improvements to the area but most importantly a social network. there's a baby group that runs for new parents, and we're soon adding a 'mums of 2 plus' meeting at the Downside youth centre. both will hopefully start running in conjunction with the NCT to help with a continual flow of new parents.
can second the suggestion for caroline flint, her NCT classes are good - info is useful but mainly good to meet other parents to be.
Hi ladies and congratulations.
I am also a first time mum to be and due December. I am signed up for the NCT antenatal classes in Covent Garden - booked through Alison Johnson.
I'm also looking to get to know others in the area in the same boat (as it were.....).
but if you can't get on for whatever reason feel free to email your contact details to [email protected] and we'll add you to the database and help you get online.
