A remarkable talent, with an unmistakable unique voice, my sincere sympathies are with her family, but hand on heart, assuming that her too soon demise was drug related, was it a shock or surprise to anyone?

No surprise at all. And to be honest, sad as it is that any young life is wasted in this way, I consider "tragedy" an ill considered word. What happened in Norway this THAT's a tragedy. None of the victims invited their fate. Amy on the other hand really did dice with death for a long time. None the less...RIP.

Four young soldiers were killed in Afghanistan this week.

I bet none of Amy's "fans" knows any of their names.

What a strange world we live in when folks mourn a moody self-destructive woman they have never met.

It's not a surprise at all and I don't know why everybody makes such a noise of that. She was a good singer but it was only her fault what's happened.
