Does anyone know of any blackthorn or sloe are growing and ready to bear fruit in Southwark...I feel a sloe gin episode coming on.....

You might find some round Russia Dock Woodland. Its traditional to wait till the first frost though - then the sloes are softer and sweeter.

Round there you might need an asbestos overcoat for firework protection too.
