Not quite tea dances, Jackie - but I picked up a Pool of London/Sea Britain leaflet and they're advertising 1940s dances on 3 June, 5 August and 23 September - on the HMS Belfast - you have to get tickets from

Ivanhoe - I thought the boss of Wicked wore corsets/stocking etc.. not 40's fashion... I have a genuine American War Dress and matching shoes under the stairs, if it still fitted I'd go....sloe, sloe, gin gin sloe!there I'm getting in practice!

Gosh, sounds GREAT, if we are in town on 3rd June (not certain) or 5th August (pretty certain) I will seize the Professor and put on my dancing shoes. 23rd September I'll be having a new granddaughter and looking after one (probably) very disgruntled grandson. Thanks Julie. What does IWM stand for?

Ah-HA! Well, if the IWM are organising it, it's gotta be good. Better and better.
