Whats the weirdest food anyone has ever cooked? My mate cooked a meat birthday cake the other day, looked pretty rank. Anyone got any ideas of weird food? Worm pie or anything?

I used to make Stilton ice cream, i.e. pureed stilton with thick cream to serve as a starter in the seventies. I thought it was good but my son said it was disgusting. Now this kind of thing seems to be fashionable.

First milking from a cow, baked in a cast iron oven in a great enamel dish, sets like a custard as i recall.

or in a very low oven in a large dish!
probably would not be allowed now, but pasteurization was not a big thing in the fifties! be nice to taste again though..

Heston Blumenthal's snail porridge sounds fairly disgusting. It may however, taste delicious.

Had an entire cow's tongue at the Bolivian Barbecue on Old Kent Road.
It is the only food I have ever balked at eating.
It looked disgusting complete with suckers and taste buds and veiny bits.
