As you may know, Big Dave, a prolific and very funny contributor, is moving to Scotland. We will miss his physical presence, but when the Internet reaches Scotland I hope he will be a virtual presence.

How about using his departure as an excuse to get together?

Thursday 26th February? 6:30 pm start.

If you have a pref for venue...speak out.

Come On SE1'ers! Put a face to a name!

Excellent. I'll come.

Good news already. Who's next ?

Count me in - as for venue - what about some of the places that have been talked about here in the last few weeks - maybe try either Simon the Tanner or the Royal Oak ?

Just one plea, can we work out a better signal than the orange t-shirts ?

I can make it too...

Royal Oak is a great pub, but is likely to be heaving on a Thursday night. They do have a function room upstairs, but it's probably more appropriate for groups who already know each other.

The Market Trader opposite the side entrance of Borough Market has an area round the back which might be useful?

As Big Dave is leaving SE1 for Scotland, maybe we could pick a Scottish theme as the signal? And does BD have any special requests for location?

The Scotia Bar would be appropriate....

I'll be there too Kev...

And I guess we could wear Tam O'Shanters instead of orange T-shirts....

Damn! And I was just in the process of hiring an EasyJet uniform!

Orange hair? Seems appropriate given BD's destination?
