I recently got a puppy who is now 12 weeks old. I was wondering whether someone knows about a puppy playgroup that meets in the park? I would love to get him socialised with other dogs but have not come across anything during my search on the net.

If anyone knows something please drop me a quick reply, it would be much appreciated. Or maybe you are interested in joining me and my puppy to go to the park with your new pup?

I run a fitness class in Tanner Street park (just off Bermondsey Street), there are always dog walkers having a natter over there, not sure how organised it all is, but you could try asking the lovely lady who runs Holly & Lil on Bermondsey Street (a shop that sells all things dog).

I would love a puppy myself, but hubby not having any of it- so just have to enjoy seeing everyone else out with theirs! Hope you find something.

Aha! Hello Pauline and Tigger!

For people looking for a local recommendation we highly recommend Yiolanda who runs Bandana Puppies - she really cares about all the pups. She's based at Andrew Kirby vets on Grange Road.

Jess and Tigger met at Bandana Puppies and it's been brilliant for socialising them and learning the basic commands.

And our pup Jess had a very good first grooming session with her, so we'll definitely be staying in touch after puppy club.

Ha, Josh and Jess!! You found us here.

I absolutely agree with Josh!

Yiolanda from Bandana Puppies is great with dogs and Tigger and I thoroughly enjoyed the puppy socializing classes and the training.

Tigger's next groom is in November.
