Yeah yeah, you know how it is....nowhere like our terrace. FIREWORK NIGHT IS ON SATURDAY THIS YEAR. We recommend you're coming well wrapped up - my policy is to make hot soup and sausage rolls. Last year it was clear and windless, so it worked wonderfully, and you can get all the fireworks for miles. We are away till end October, but just to let y'all know, whoever wants to come is most welcome. Usual guest list required
TRouble with mulled anything is it's sweet and sticky and tends to find its way on to carpets and so on, and I dare say we'll be on the carpets a bit more than we were on June 10th...it gets bloody perishing out on the terrace for too long.
mr jac and I would love to come and will bring a contribution. Its very near my birthday so I always get excited at the thought on bon fire night, Is it okay if the two younger jacs come? generally we prefer to leave them at home when socialising but there would be more than fireworks if we left them out on this night. As you know they can be reasonably civialised.
Ivanhoe - I can dig out a parkin recipe for you. PM me nearer the time to remind me
