first time visitor
Hi, I visited cafe brood on monday. Friendly staff, lovely coffee and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. After looking round Boro market i came back for my lunch, which was lovely [the burgers had run out] but I had the wrap with mergues sausages, halloumi, olives etc. Fantastic, great portion size and very filling and tasty. Great value too.
My family lived in the area in the 19th century and have been doing my family history. They lived at 6 Green Dragon Court:) Ill definitely be going back to Cafe Brood on my next visit.
Good Coffee and Unique Burger
My wife and I often visit Cafe Brood for a well made morning cappucino - enjoyed in the shadow of Southwark Cathedral. We can also recommend the lunch burger which is cooked on the open grill and crammed into a roll with freshly prepared ingredients like red peppers and onions. Not fancy, but ideal for that quick bite while out and about the market.
