Brilliant!
Cannot believe the others who have written reviews on this place visited the same restaurant we did! Our visit/s took place end Aug beginning Sept and we experienced the total opposite to what others are saying. The food was good and reasonably priced, the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this to anyone who wants good food at a reasonable price. The general ambience was relaxed and the experience was undoubtedly good. We will be regular visitors when in London.
Promises much but fails to deliver
Where do I start? As has been mentioned before the venue is nicely laid out, it looks the part it's well decorated and laid out that however is about as good as it gets
the staff were friendly enough although really quite pushy when it came to ordering 3 times I ws prompted to order while still reading the menu. Which was pretty disapointing to be honest. In spite of their eagerness to serve the Spag Bol I ordered turned into spagetti and meatballs!? Close but no cigar!

The food was reasonable but really very salty and trust me I like salt! The garlic bread was supermarket finest and I have never been to an Italian restaurant with quite so many ketchup bottles available!?! That said the salads looked ok
So in short a bit of a disapointment - you would think that given it's location, opposite the Premier Inn County Hall they would up their game but apparently not
would I eat here again? No would I recommend it? Again a No! Try somewhere else

You will have to pay ME to go there
Because summer so far nothing like we were expecting so if you meet your friends you usually just want to find a nice place and spent your evening having good food and wine. From outside Cucina looked like a quite nice place but we were fooled by it. We had an afwul experiance in there.Food was so bad i couldn't even eat.Lasagne wasn't cooked, burgers tasted afwul, cutlery wasn't washed properly, staff couldn't understand english, as i understood manager was just sitting and had no interest of what was going on in there. I would never in a million years would conside to came back to that place. And so do you!!!!
Good Food? Good Service? Go somewhere else
Two friends and I went to this restaurant over the weekend. We will not be going again.

We waited 45 minutes giving up on the idea of being approached, and attempting to hail a waitress ourselves to take our drinks orders.

We asked someone to come and serve us three times before anyone made a note of what we wanted. The drinks, when they came, came singly and spaced far apart - two of us had nearly finished by the time the third got her drink.

The food . . . was dire. We were not expecting superb, gourmet dishes - we were expecting standard, decent cafe food. What we got were Birdseye burgers in sub-standard buns. I ordered the melanzane - this was virtually inedible, and nothing like what melanzane should be.

In their favour, Cucina has furnished itself well, and their fries are passable. Hiring new staff (chefs and waitresses) should be on the management's immediate agenda.
