Plogging in Bermondsey

London City Runners are putting on a "plogging" event starting at their new clubhouse in Druid Street.

It's basically walking/running while picking up litter in the local area.

The event is free and open to everyone in the community.

You don't need to be a runner.

The club will provide litter bags, gloves and even litter pickers.

All you need to do is show up for 11am and there will even be a prize for the most litter picked in an hour.
