Glyn was born and grew up in Belfast, was educated at Cambridge and the London School of Economics and has lived in Kennington or Clapham for the past 10 years. He is an economist and works on strategy and policy assignments for businesses and government. Being passionate about securing the best education for our young people, Glyn is a governor of the Michael Tippett Special School in Brixton. He is also deeply concerned about promoting international development and has participated in construction, teaching and business projects in Africa. Glyn has worked for a wide range of charitable organisations - from conservation volunteering to home-visiting blind and elderly people - and his spare time interests range from climatology to classical music.
