SE1 pubs in line for awards
Two SE1 pubs have made the shortlist for Evening Standard Pub of the Year.
The Market Porter in Borough Market is credited with having at least four different clienteles: market workers, officer workers, foodies and real ale fans.
The Royal Oak in Tabard Street, Harvey's only London pub, is described as a pub of "Equisite classicism".
Eight other London pubs are on the list. Included in the Bars shortlist is Baltic in Blackfriars Road better known for its Polish restaurant.
