75% of tourists in London come to SE1

Tate Modern enjoys high levels of awareness – the modern art gallery on Bankside was the second most recognised of a list of attractions in London after the Tower of London.

92% of visitors spoken to during the summer said that they felt very or fairly safe in London, which compares favourably to the 79% visitor response to the same question in summer 2002. Almost 90% of visitors felt safer, or as safe, in London as they did in Rome or in Paris.
