Do you live or contribute to community life in West Bermondsey, East Peckham, Nunhead, East or West Camberwell? What’s great about where you live, or what would you like to change?
Do you feel safe in your neighbourhood? What facilities are missing from this area? What plans do the council or developers have that will affect people in your area?
The Willowbrook Centre is offering training in planning and development issues and the chance to make constructive input into developments that are planned in your area.
You will gain an understanding of planning terms, plans and drawings, how to comment on planning applications and policies and how to develop proposals for your local area.
Training courses are running on Tuesday 22 & Wednesday 23 March at the Leathermarket JMB tenants meeting room, 5pm-9pm. There are 15 places available. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Ring Emma Williamson on 020 7732 8856 or email [email protected] to book or for more information.
This initiative is run by The Willowbrook Centre and Planning Aid for London. It is funded by the Neighbourhood Renewal Fund and Southwark Council through the Southwark Alliance.
