Sarah Waters book signing in Lower Marsh
Local author Sarah Waters dropped in to Lower Marsh's new independent bookshop on Tuesday to sign copies of her new novel Night Watch.

Much of Night Watch – which is officially released on Thursday – is set in the area.
Waters is best known for Tipping the Velvet and Fingersmith, which is set in Victorian Borough and Bankside.
Crockatt & Powell opened last month at 119 Lower Marsh.
