Potters Fields Park was transformed into a winter wonderland on Wednesday lunchtime to promote Aer Lingus's winter destinations.
The stunt follows Aer Lingus's event in Jubilee Gardens earlier this year when hundreds of scantily clad people gathered in the riverside park.
Volunteers – including some recruited via our @se1 Twitter account – converged on Potters Fields Park wearing summer clothing to throw fake snowballs at each other in return for the promise of some free plane tickets.
Eight months ago there was real snow in Potters Fields Park.
