Type 23 frigate HMS Richmond passed through Tower Bridge on Monday morning at the start of a week-long visit to London berthed alongside HMS Belfast.
The 4900-tonne Portsmouth-based warship passed through Tower Bridge just before 9am on Monday.
The main purpose of the visit is to foster the long-standing and close relationship between the ship and the Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames.
The highlights of the visit include an official reception on board the day after the ship's arrival and a 'Freedom Parade' in Richmond on 9 July.
As the ship is berthed on the south side of the Thames, Captain Mike Walliker will call on the Mayor of Southwark at Southwark Town Hall on Tuesday.
HMS Richmond will leave the Pool of London on Monday 12 July.
