Prestigious web award for SE1 firm

Bluebell Networks, based in Black Prince Road, Lambeth, won top prize in the UK's first national Web Travel & Tourism Awards.

The company provides technology and holidays to the well-known travel site Expedia.co.uk.

Thanks to Bluebell Networks, Expedia is the only online travel agent in Britain to offer a complete range of specialist holidays by leading independent tour operators. Holiday types include golfing, diving and health spa breaks – as well as cruises, safaris and trips for single travellers.

Judges rated Bluebell Networks' site the UK's best on the following criteria: search & selection, availability & booking, site quality, customer support and additional services.

The award was collected by Bluebell's managing director Stewart Cruttenden at a ceremony at the NEC in Birmingham.
