The London School of Economics has revealed plans to extend its Bankside House hall of residence next to Tate Modern.
A small display with details of the proposals is on show in the windows of the Bankside Community Space in Great Guildford Street.
The LSE is proposing to add three extra storeys to the building which was formerly the headquarters of the Central Electricity Generating Board.
The extra floors will provide extra rooms for LSE students during term time and additional visitor accommodation during the summer vacation.
The designs, by TP Bennett, also include a new terrace on Great Guildford Street offering public access to the Bankside House restaurant.
LSE says the landscaping will be integrated into the wider Bankside Urban Forest.
