A team from the Borough High Street-based solicitors' firm Anthony Gold has taken part in a sponsored abseil from the top of Guy's Hospital tower.

The team of five completed the challenge on Sunday 6 July. At 450 feet, the tower is the highest building in London that can be abseiled and is even taller than the London Eye.

Despite some nerves everyone reached the bottom safely, cheered on by colleagues and friends. The hospital tower overlooks the firm's London Bridge office and will remind those who took part of their achievement.

Generous sponsorship from the firm and other supporters meant that more than £1,250 was raised for Cancer Research UK.

The firm's managing partner David Marshall said "We are very proud of the members of staff who were involved in the abseil and are pleased to support such a good cause".
