Bermondsey festival fills two parks

John Constable organised a history walk whilst Leathermarket Gardens hosted a Bermondsey history exhibition and refreshments in the village hall.

In Tabard Gardens there was advice on recycling and compost-making available from CRISP, Charterhouse had a stall promoting time banks and Elephant Angels were making their debut in Bermondsey.

The event was masterminded by the West Bermondsey Community Forum, which is a Neighbourhood Renewal Initiative, funded until March 2004 and supported by Charterhouse-in-Southwark. Phone 020 7403 1676 or email [email protected] for further information.
