Southwark Council has granted planning permission for new Barclays Cycle Hire docking stations in Tooley Street, Snowsfields and Tennis Street.

In Snowsfields the new docking station close to the Mei King restaurant will accommodate up to 32 bicycles.

The council has approved a new docking station in a narrow section of Tennis Street outside Betsham House with up to 20 docking points.

A further docking station will be constructed in Tooley Street, close to London Bridge itself, with up to 24 spaces.

Approval for the relocation of car parking bays displaced by the new docking stations was given at a recent meeting of Bermondsey & Rotherhithe Community Council.
