Latin American flower festival comes to Elephant & Castle
St Mary's Churchyard at the Elephant & Castle hosted the Azucar Flower Festival on Saturday - a Latin American celebration organised as part of Southwark Council's Elephant and The Nun Festival.
The Azucar Flower Festival was inspired by the fiesta de los flores held every August in Medellín, Colombia's second largest city.
The park was decorated with displays produced by the Walworth-based Latin American Multicultural Group.
The event also featured fairground rides, live music and dance as well as Latin American food and drink.
