Pedestrian injured in Blackfriars Road collision
Blackfriars Road was closed to northbound traffic for several hours on Tuesday afternoon after a woman in her 30s was hit by a car.
Police were called just before 2.15pm to reports of a collision outside Southwark Underground Station.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman told the SE1 website that a woman in her thirties suffered a leg injury.
Police believe that the collision involved a black saloon car which failed to stop at the scene of the incident.
