Steve Freeman, who gained just 120 votes when he stood as an independent candidate in Bermondsey & Old Southwark in 2010, is running again as a 'Republican Socialist'.

We caught up with him after the Southwark Trades Council election question time at the Beormund Community Centre on Monday night.

Freeman has been accused of 'sabotage' by others on the far left for standing against Kingsley Abrams, the Trade Union and Socialist Coalition (TUSC) candidate.
