Transport for London has delayed the start of work to install segregated cycle lanes across Westminster Bridge after last week's terrorist attack.
We reported earlier this month that the major roadworks project at Westminster Bridge and the junction on its south side was due to start on Wednesday 29 March but the start date has now been delayed until further notice.
"Works at the southern end of Westminster Bridge and on the bridge itself were due to start on Wednesday to improve the area for cyclists and pedestrians," said Transport for London in an email to local businesses and residents.
"Following the terrorist incident in Westminster last week we have temporarily postponed this work."
