The Elephant Project

A group of artists and friends have moved into unit 215 of the shopping centre. They will make work about the Elephant under the roof of the Elephant. The project is a celebration of the Elephant's history and a community leading up to an intense programme of regeneration.

The functional multi purpose space will act as a studio/ workshop/ drop in area welcoming all.

It will be exhibiting the artists' responses both throughout and at the end of the two week period of residence.

This is an opportunity for local residents to voice their opinions on the regeneration of the Elephant.

A programme of talks and events will take place alongside the residency.
