Bermondsey Street Festival

This annual event is now in its fifth year.

The usual favourites are on the schedule including the dog show, fashion show, children's activities and maypole dancing.

Highlights for 2011 include a fancy dress parade starting in Bermondsey Square at 11am.

Join in the hunt for 'Spring Heeled Jack' in a new promenade theatre piece written exclusively for the festival by Jack George.

Appreciate new exclusive Contemporary dance from Jemma Bicknell or 'Get your Apps out' and join the impromptu iPhone Orchestra on the new Performance stage.

Bermondsey Square features music and DJs during the day and an out door film screening of Cabaret in the evening, in association with Shortwave Cinema.
