Celebrating a century of International Women's Day, this exhibition highlights historic, modern and contemporary work by women artists in the Southwark Art Collection.

Through selected themes and genres, art by women working in the nineteenth century will be seen alongside works by some of today's most well-known female artists.

Topographical studies of Bankside and a selection of twentieth century prints in a range of media will illustrate different periods of collecting.

Featured artists include Margaret Sarah Carpenter, Prunella Clough, Tracey Emin, Anya Gallaccio, Grace Golden, Barbara Hepworth, Gertrude Hermes, Sarah Lucas, Bertha Newcombe and Gillian Wearing.
