Real Street Food Festival

Street food is going through a revolution as the greasy sausage merchants of yesterday are replaced by vendors of cheap, fresh, well sourced and truly exciting food.

The Real Food Festival team has brought together the very best of this new generation of authentic vendors to Southbank Centre for the first Real Street Food Festival, creating a street party with food fit for a future king.

Taking place over the weekend of the Royal Wedding, visitors will be able to experience first hand a quirky line-up of specialist vendors which will include traders sourced by the renowned 'Eat Street Collective' who are fast gaining a loyal following of devotees, with popular favourites including Choc Star, Healthy Yummies and Bhangra Burger.

Also due to make a return to the streets from their temporary base in a New Cross pub is the Meatwagon whose legendary 24 day aged beef burgers command legions of followers.
