The Lost Cinemas of the Old Kent Road

The Old Kent Road has had as many as a dozen cinemas over the last 100 years.

This talk will show the history of each building from the early novelty films shown in shop conversions to the massive super-cinemas with films and stage shows like the Astoria and the Regal.
