The Archaeology of Southwark and its Cathedral
Join the Thames Discovery Programme to discover more about this fascinating building and the history and archaeology of the local area.
There will also be the opportunity to see some photography by the Foreshore Recording and Observation Group Photo Team and to join in with photo activities around the building.
The Middlesex and Surrey Archaeology Dowsers will also be working in the South Churchyard, examining the area where the chapel of St Mary Magdalene once stood.
There will also be displays about the work of the Thames Discovery Programme and artefacts from the collections of the Museum of London.
