Recycled candle workshop for Christmas

What better way to keep your Christmas low-carbon than to make your own gifts?

At this workshop you can make floating candles from old bits of candles (please do bring along your candle and wax crayon remnants) and then wrapping them in recycled delights (please bring along any beautiful catalogues/Sunday magazines to make simple origami boxes).

This will hopefully be the start of a monthly craft workshop at Bermondsey Fayre with Sarah Houghton – keeping it seasonal with a recycled twist!

The next one in January will also involve working with wax but this time dipping candles to celebrate the midpoint of Winter.

25 per cent of the fee will be donated to the Waldorf School of SW London new building fund.
