Southwark Council arranges Exchanging Places events to raise awareness of cycle safety.
These events allow people to sit in the driver's seat of an HGV to get a better understanding of what the driver can and cannot to see, especially in regards to cyclists on the nearside and directly in front of the vehicle.
As well as the HGV, there will be free cycle maintenance, cycle security marking and cycling information.
The event continues from 12 noon to 2pm in nearby Weaver's Lane.
