Does music run in the family? Find out with a festive concert exploring some renowned families in classical music. Father and son team Leopold and Wolfgang Mozart will delight you with the best of the classical period; husband and wife team Robert and Clara Schumann champion the Romantic movement with the luxurious Adagio and Allegro for Horn, and Romance for Violin and Piano; their protege Johannes Brahms impresses with his virtuosic Horn Trio. The audience will be rejoicing with Mary and Joseph as they welcome a new member to their family in Handel's Messiah.

As the grand finale everyone will gather round the piano for some favourite Christmas carols.

Studies show classical music can bring tremendous benefits to young children, but the idea is simply to bring adults and kids of all ages together for a lively morning of exceptional music.
