Inua Ellams recreates the The Midnight Run for Bankside in this performance commissioned by the MERGE Festival.
The Midnight Run grew into a global urban movement after Ellams lost patience one night waiting for a London bus and decided to walk the bus route home with a friend instead, a journey that took six hours and led to him seeing London, as a deserted city, through new eyes.
Participants will run with him around Bankside and surrounding locations, as well as interacting with and responding to London in new ways.
