Bankside & Borough Boules/Petanque Launch

Bankside Bastille Festival organisers are launching free boules in Bankside and the Borough for novices, part timers, enthusiasts and aficionados to play this totally inclusive, inter-generational, convivial pastime on a regular basis with on-going guidance from devotees from the London Pétanque Association.

Not exclusively a French passion, the original Italian game Bocce is now a global phenomena and since 1984 has been a Paralympic sport, with ParalympicsGB wining Boules/Boccia gold in Bejing.
