Morley College is reviving the tradition of Penny Lectures to mark the 130th anniversary of the lecture series that gave birth to the college.
Ticket prices have been kept at 1882 levels - just 1p, available on the door!
Dr Jonathan Miller, writer and director, will explore the place of public lectures and debate in understanding contemporary issues.
The evening will also include a presentation by Lambeth Archives about the contribution of Emma Cons, the college's founder, to social reform in the 1880’s and how these social and political themes remain relevant in the 21st century.
