A free event to celebrate International Day of Older Persons organised by the Forum for Equalities and Human Rights in Southwark, Age UK Lewisham and Southwark and Southwark Pensioners Centre.
The event will be opened by Cllr Richard Livingstone, cabinet member for community safety.
Speakers include:
• Equality and Human Rights Commission: Older people's care and human rights
• Ray Boyce: Head of Older People's Services at Southwark Council
• Department of Work and Pensions: Welfare reform and changes to pensions
• Simon Hughes MP
Free refreshments, tea dance, Pearly Queen, information stalls and music.
