An Evening With Carol Ann Duffy

An evening of poetry and music during which the Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy will read from her collected works, with musical interludes from the Cathedral's Merbecke Choir.

The evening will feature the first reading of Carol Ann Duffy's exclusive new poem written for Southwark.

Winners of the Southwark Cathedral Poetry Competition 2012 will be announced.

The winning entry will be performed by the actor Timothy West. A book stall will be available and Carol Ann Duffy will be signing books after the event.
