Your Chance...

Young people in Waterloo will be given the chance to voice their views at a conference to discuss youth services and provisions in the area.

The 'Your Chance...' conference is free of charge to all young people and providers.

From 3pm: Providers are invited to attend with two or three young people to help represent their organisation. Through key presentations from the providers behind 'Your Chance...' and break-out sessions, the first part of the day aims to achieve three things:
• Discover the breadth of provision currently available to young people across local organisations
• Uncover gaps in provision
• Discuss ways to network together effectively

From 5pm: All participants from either session are welcome to network and enjoy free pizza and refreshments

From 6pm: The conference will be open more widely to young people and will present the findings from the afternoon session. The young people will be able to vote on whether they agree or disagree and discuss a range of questions through break-out sessions including:
• What are the real gaps in local provision?
• How would they like local providers to respond to these gaps?
• As young people, what can they do to be part of the solution?
