The service follows last year's memorable gathering to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
This year's theme is all about celebrating young people and the unique contribution they make to life in the borough.
As well as offering prayer and worship with and for young people, there will also be performances by a variety of Southwark groups and a number of inspirational speakers.
The Civic Service is open to people of all faiths and none who live, work in, or visit Southwark and is not a ticketed event.
The service will be led by the Revd Prebendary Rose Hudson-Wilkin, chaplain to the Speaker of the House of Commons.
The service will include performances from the David Idowu Choir, the Southwark Young Voices pop-up choir and the St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School choir.
Readings will be given by Joshua Moses and Ibrahim Barr, members of Southwark youth council.
Two inspirational young Southwark entrepreneurs - Gbemi Okunlola who was a contestant on BBC’s Young Apprentice and young film director Adeyemi Michael - will speak during the service.
