Help the council to decide how services should be funded in 2014/15.

In June this year the government announced that local government funding will be cut by 10 per cent in real terms in 2015/16.

Southwark Council faces significant budget pressures as a result of continued reductions in government spending and at a time of increasing demand for services.

As a result, the council is facing further difficult decisions as it faces a £23 million budget gap in 2014/15 and more savings to come in future years.
