The Mayor of Southwark, Cllr Abdul Mohamed, invites you to join him for the Southwark Peace Breakfast.
The theme of the peace breakfast is 'Building Peace in Fractured Communities' and 'Who will you make peace with, and how?'
Breakfast will be served from 8am and will be followed at 9am by an hour-long programme of film, music, poetry, and inspirational speakers.
Speakers will include Doreen Lawrence OBE, mother of Stephen Lawrence who was murdered in 1993, and Barry and Margaret Mizen, parents of Jimmy Mizen who was murdered in 2008.
The peace breakfast is a project of the Mayor of Southwark's office, working in partnership this year with The Tutu Foundation and Southwark Multi Faith Forum.
Places are limited and you can book yours in advance by contacting Ambrose Omoma [email protected]
There is no charge for this event but you will be invited to make a contribution on the day to the Mayor's Charity Appeal for Evelina London Children's Hospital.
